Since the beginning of 2025, Disneyland Paris has been enchanting its visitors with a brand-new evening show: Disney Tales of Magic. This spectacular show brings the magic of various Disney films to life through a combination of stunning projections, atmospheric music, and impressive light effects. What makes this show truly special is the innovative use of projections on the facades of Main Street, U.S.A., immersing visitors fully into the world of Disney.
To create these stunning visual effects during Disney Tales of Magic, advanced projectors have been installed on the facades and buildings of Main Street, U.S.A. Many of these projectors are carefully hidden behind small balconies or concealed behind windows above the shops. This ensures they remain almost invisible, preserving the authentic appearance of Main Street, U.S.A.
In some locations, however, hiding the technology proved to be a greater challenge. At Walt’s – An American Restaurant, an iconic restaurant named after Walt Disney, the projectors couldn’t be placed behind windows because guests dine there. Therefore, a projector was placed on the roof. While Disneyland Paris usually manages to seamlessly integrate technology into the theming, this solution appears less subtle. The choice of decorative roofing at Walt’s makes it stand out even more.
