Renovation works on Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland Paris.
Since the beginning of this year, one of the most popular attractions in Disneyland Paris, Big Thunder Mountain, has been closed for renovation. According to some sources, the renovation will take a total of one year. This period will be split into two phases, each lasting six months. As a result, the attraction will remain closed until the summer, with a possible second closure next year to complete the work.

Recently, we took photos of the attraction in Frontierland and noticed that more and more scaffolding is appearing around the ride. At the first lift hill, a wooden structure has been removed, likely to be rebuilt soon with new wood.

In addition, the water around the splash zone has been completely pumped out, providing the construction crews with easier access to the attraction. At the top of the mountain, several cables are also visible, which could indicate that the mountain is being repainted or at least getting a thorough cleaning.

We are already looking forward to the final result of this renovation and are curious about the improvements Disneyland Paris will implement.
