Disney Village is undergoing a major transformation.
The work in Disney Village continues without pause. After the opening of the first two new stores, Disney Glamour and Disney Style, this is just the beginning of a completely revamped Disney Village.

With the previously opened Brasserie Rosalie, there are now three new establishments in Disney Village. Meanwhile, work is underway on the next stores, which will open their doors in April: the revamped LEGO Store and the brand-new “Deco by Disney” store.

Mixed reactions to the new stores
Fans of Disneyland Paris are curious about the further developments, especially after the mixed reactions to the recently opened stores. Disney Glamour and Disney Style, which essentially form one large store, are considered by many visitors to be minimalist and uninviting. The sleek, white interior and lack of Disney-themed elements, aside from a wallpaper near the checkout, have led to disappointment among fans. Many compare the look to a standard fashion store like H&M or Zara.

Expectations for the revamped LEGO Store are higher, as the colorful LEGO boxes and bricks are sure to create a more vibrant atmosphere. It remains to be seen whether large Disney LEGO figures will be on display in the store. “Deco by Disney” seems to be adopting a similar modern style, which could lead to a similar critical reception. However, visitors will only be able to form their final impression starting in mid-April.

Progress at the entrance of Disney Village
Work continues at the entrance of Disney Village, where guests of the Disney hotels arrive. The metal structure for the new entrance has already been placed. Additionally, the floors around the new entrance and the area near Earl of Sandwich are being renovated.

Renovation of the Sportsbar and new restaurants
The renovation of the Sportsbar is also in full swing, although there are still few visible changes. The building has now been completely emptied and stripped. The same applies to the former New York Style Sandwiches restaurant, which, together with the Sportsbar, is being transformed into a large new Sportsbar & Lounge.
At the former location of Planet Hollywood, preparations are being made for the construction of a new restaurant: Casa Giulia. This future restaurant, with over 500 seats spread across two floors, will offer an extensive Italian menu, ideal for families. This will further expand the culinary variety in Disney Village.
With all these updates, Disney Village is on the brink of a major transformation. The coming months will reveal how these changes are received by visitors.
