Boardwalk Candy Palace Reopens with a Sweet Makeover
Boardwalk Candy Palace, the ultimate destination for sweet treats on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, is reopening on April 11 after a full refurbishment—now hosted by M&M’S!
The shop’s exterior has been redesigned with elegant nods to the M&M’S brand, including a new window display that creates a stunning illusion of depth. Inside, the space captures the charm of the Atlantic City boardwalk with fresh decorative elements. A sand-colored terrazzo floor features shell motifs, while nearly 35,000 M&M’S candies form a colorful sky mural. Hot-air balloons float overhead, evoking turn-of-the-century whimsy.

The renovation also enhances the shopping experience. Guests can now fill their bags from 30 large tubes of M&M’S, while cash registers are set against a striking 9.15-meter-wide mural of Atlantic City. Classic architectural details, including columns and moldings, have been carefully restored to preserve the shop’s 1992 charm.
This transformation was made possible by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris in collaboration with Design & Delivery and Merchandise teams.
