If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland Paris, keep in mind that the Orbitron attraction in Discoveryland is currently closed. It’s surprising that the ride is undergoing another long refurbishment, considering it was completely dismantled and rebuilt not too long ago as part of a major renovation project.
With this closure, Disneyland Park loses yet another attraction, in addition to Big Thunder Mountain being closed and showtimes for Mickey Philharmagic being reduced. This also means even more construction walls in Discoveryland, where guests are already encountering them in several places—such as at the entrance of Café Hyperion where walls have been up for years, around a large section of Hyperspace Mountain, and now also at Orbitron.
The reason for this latest closure remains unclear, as Disney has not provided any details about the project.
