This Saturday, April 12th, 2025, we’ll be in Disneyland Paris to celebrate the park’s 33rd anniversary. As with most of the park’s “in-between” anniversaries, there won’t be any major festivities within the parks themselves. This is in contrast to milestone celebrations like the 25th anniversary, which was commemorated with large-scale events and special entertainment.
What’s New, What’s Next at Disneyland Paris?
Just like last year, we’ve been invited as Insidears member to attend a special presentation hosted by Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, and Michel den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris. This session will focus on current projects and possibly reveal new details about upcoming developments within the resort.

We expect the Disney Music Festival—set to launch just a week later—to be a key topic during the presentation. There’s also speculation that we might hear more about Adventure Way and Adventure Bay, and perhaps get a first look at new show concepts planned for the lake in that area.
We’re hopeful for a potential opening date for Disney Adventure World, though past delays have made Disneyland Paris more cautious with announcements. Studio 1 may also be mentioned, as updates have been scarce even though the project should be nearing completion.
The internet is currently buzzing with rumors of a new attraction being planned opposite the Rapunzel ride, though we’ll reserve judgment until anything is officially confirmed by Disney. It’ll be interesting to see if the presentation sheds any light on this.

Another area we’re hoping to get updates on is Disney Village—specifically the side of the street where Starbucks, The Royal Pub, and Rainforest Café are located. So far, very little has been shared about the future transformation of that section.
Additionally, we’re curious about the new bungalows at Davy Crockett Ranch, which were announced last year. Originally scheduled to start installation in January, little progress has been seen to date.
And of course, Space Mountain turns 30 this year. Fans would be thrilled if Disneyland Paris would announce the return to the attraction’s original storyline—a move that would surely be warmly received.

Following the presentation, there will be a showroom featuring concept art and models, including what we expect to be a detailed model of the Lion King attraction, along with visuals for the projects discussed earlier in the day.
We’re among the lucky few who’ve also been selected to visit the construction site of Disney Adventure World. While filming or photography likely won’t be allowed, we hope a Disney photographer will be present to capture this exciting experience.

In the afternoon, we’ll have free time to explore the parks, followed by a reserved viewing area for “Tales of Magic” in the evening. The day will end with an exclusive after-party in Videopolis, which might include a sneak peek of the Disney Music Festival.
We’re incredibly excited for what promises to be a magical and insightful day!
