Disney Sequoia Lodge to Undergo Major Renovation Starting in 2026
Following the grand reopening of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021 and the newly redesigned Disneyland Hotel in 2024, Disneyland Paris is now planning a big transformation for another Disney Hotel: Disney Sequoia Lodge. This hotel, with 1,010 rooms, is located by Lake Disney, surrounded by beautiful pine trees and sequoias. Inspired by American National Park lodges, it will soon be reimagined as a special retreat celebrating nature and Disney forest animals from animated films.

Starting in 2026, major upgrades will take place to improve and elevate the guest experience at Disney Sequoia Lodge, while keeping its beloved wooden décor and warm, welcoming atmosphere that has been a favorite since it opened in 1992. The entire hotel, from the rooms to the lobby, and even the shops and restaurants, will be redesigned to look brighter and more modern. The new design will continue to honor nature, drawing inspiration from the forests, as Walt Disney and his animators once did. It will also feature many Disney characters from classic and newer films, especially those set in forests, in fun and creative ways. The hotel’s renovations will also focus on being environmentally friendly, using materials that minimize impact on nature.

The hotel will stay open during the renovations, which will take place in phases starting in 2026.
A Refresh for Disney Davy Crockett Ranch Bungalows
Meanwhile, Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is also getting a makeover. The bungalows will be replaced with new, modern ones to give guests a more comfortable experience while still offering a peaceful retreat in nature, just a short drive from the Disney Parks. The new bungalow designs will be inspired by the adventures of popular Disney characters like Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and the Junior Woodchucks.
The first new bungalows will be available for booking starting June 12, 2025, for stays beginning after the summer.
