The Lion King & Jungle Festival show Timon’s Matadance is back in Disneyland Paris!
After nearly six years, Timon’s Matadance is back! The show was originally part of the Lion King & Jungle Festival in the summer of 2019, alongside The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands (Frontierland Theater) and The Jungle Book Jive.
In December 2024, Disneyland Paris announced that Timon’s Matadance would return to Adventureland from April 19 to September 7, 2025. This time, the show is part of the Disney Music Festival, which includes many experiences throughout the Disneyland Park.

You can catch Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu daily in Adventureland. They’ll be joined by a group of dancers and – new for this year live percussionists! Together, they invite guests to forget their worries with the famous phrase Hakuna Matata and learn the Matadance
The show is mostly the same as the 2019 version, but now features a new musical twist. Since it’s part of the Disney Music Festival, you’ll hear the cheerful anthem “Viva La Musique“.

Missing the Lion King & Jungle Festival? Don’t worry – The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands is still running at the Frontierland Theater!
The Grand Orchestra Finale:

At the end of the day, the cast of Timon’s Matadance also appears in the Grand Orchestra Finale. All performers and Disney characters come together on Central Plaza for a festive, colorful, and musical showstopper. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a day full of magical music – don’t miss it!
