In a significant shift, Disneyland Paris has taken steps back from its previously aggressive approach towards annual pass holders. A few years ago, the company implemented steep price increases and eliminated many of the benefits associated with annual passes. This led to a sharp decline in the number of pass holders. In response, Disneyland Paris has now decided to reintroduce some of those benefits.

Offer only available in person at Disneyland Paris ticket booth
However, one controversial aspect remains: the reservation system. Despite the return of certain advantages, the reservation system continues to frustrate many visitors. Still, there is a silver lining—guests renewing their annual passes in person at a Disneyland Park ticket booth are now eligible for a 15% discount. Unfortunately, this offer is not available online.

In recent months, many Disney fans had chosen not to renew their passes, as the benefits seemed to no longer justify the cost. With the introduction of this renewal discount, however, the annual pass has regained some of its appeal.
In addition to the discount, Disneyland Paris is offering a special gift for pass holders who renew: an exclusive lanyard designed specifically for annual pass holders. This new offer, combined with the recent introduction of annual passes for children—a first for Disneyland Paris—makes the passes more affordable again.
Has the price ceiling been reached? It’s likely, but time will tell.
