Construction walls have arrived at Production Courtyard for the transformation into Disney Adventure World.
While some construction walls have already been removed at Walt Disney Studios Park, new ones have now appeared in Production Courtyard, near the Studio Theater, Studio D Theater, and the interactive show Stitch Live! Due to the ongoing works, both the Studio Theater (normally home to a Pixar show) and Stitch Live are currently closed. The Studio D Theater, which hosted Minnie’s Musical Surprise, has already been closed since the end of March 2025.

Stitch Live is scheduled to reopen on June 28, 2025, and TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure will return on July 12, 2025.
In the meantime, the number “2” is being removed from the Studio Theater building, as it will no longer be considered a “soundstage”. Similar adjustments have already been made to the Animagique Theater and STUDIO 1 (World Premiere) buildings.

A concept art shows that the entrances of the Studio D Theater and Stitch Live are likely to be updated with a new entrance sign. The concept still displays the Disney Junior Dream Factory show, but its final season ended in August 2024. The show hasn’t returned since, although Disney has promised it will come back someday. For now, no further details have been announced.
The poster for Disney Junior Dream Factory on the STUDIO 1 building has also been replaced with a new one featuring Frozen: A Musical Invitation. STUDIO 1 will reopen on May 15, 2025, under the new name World Premiere, featuring brand-new theming, a new shop, and a restaurant.

According to Disney, the rest of the transformation across the existing park areas will continue until the end of 2025. In 2026, visitors will be able to enjoy exciting new areas, including Adventure Way and the highly anticipated World of Frozen.
Once the transformation is complete, the park will be renamed to Disney Adventure World. A few years later, an additional themed area based on The Lion King is expected to be added.
