On May 15, 2025, Disneyland Paris celebrated a milestone moment with the grand opening of World Premiere at the Walt Disney Studios Park, a vibrant and immersive reimagining of the park’s entrance area. The debut marks a significant chapter in the ongoing transformation of the resort’s second theme park, which is set to be renamed Disney Adventure World when its ambitious expansion concludes in 2026.
The occasion was commemorated by the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris team, who gathered proudly beneath the glowing neon lights of the newly installed Disney Theater marquee—a bold emblem of this long-anticipated update. Once known as Disney Studio 1, the space has been completely re-envisioned to capture the magic and glamour of a classic Hollywood movie premiere, all set beneath a perpetual star-studded sky.
Guests entering World Premiere are now greeted by an atmosphere brimming with cinematic charm. They can enjoy a meal at the stylish Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, browse the sleek Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, or discover subtle nods to Disney history and Los Angeles culture throughout the richly detailed surroundings. The area also provides a seamless connection to World Premiere Plaza, a hub leading to several theatrical venues and immersive lands—including Marvel Avengers Campus and the upcoming World of Frozen, scheduled to open next year.
Though construction on the site spanned approximately twelve months, the journey began much earlier. Imagineers started conceptualizing the transformation over three years ago, beginning with a complete rethinking of the narrative, assessing the integrity of the existing structure, and experimenting with visual and technical designs. Bringing the vision to life required intricate coordination and collaboration across many disciplines—art direction, architecture, engineering, production, and beyond—especially considering the central location’s daily use by thousands of Disneyland Paris guests.
