?? Aankomend weekend staan maar liefst 24000 mensen klaar aan de start voor een fantastische loopwedstrijd door de Disney Parken van Disneyland Paris. Een echte wedstrijd is het niet, iedereen krijgt een medaille bij de Finish. De meesten lopen voor het plezier en om foto’s te nemen met de talrijke Disney Characters die langs het parcours de deelnemers staan op te wachten.
Heel wat deelnemers verkleden zich voor het event in bekende Disney figuren zoals Tinker Bell of Mickey Mouse, maar ook Marvel en Star Wars figuren komen ruim aan bod.
Je kan kiezen uit verschillende parcours van 5, 10 of 21 kilometer en er zijn ook aangepaste parcours voor kinderen van 100m, 200m en 1km. Tijdens de loopwedstrijd kom je ook vaak op plaatsen in het backstage gedeelte van Disneyland Paris waar je anders nooit komt en dat maakt het natuurlijk extra speciaal voor de Disney Fans.
Dit Run Disney event werd voor de eerste keer in Disneyland Paris georganiseerd in 2016, nadat deze formule al jaren bestond in de Amerikaanse Disney Parken. Tijdens de eerste editie waren er 13 000 deelnemers, dit steeg naar 18 000 voor de tweede edtie in 2017. Tussen de deelnemers zitten er 70 verschillende nationaliteiten waaronder veel Britten en Amerikanen die speciaal voor de Magic Run naar Disneyland Paris reizen.

Most of them run for fun and take pictures with the numerous Disney Characters waiting for the participants along the course.
A lot of participants dress up for the event in famous Disney characters such as Tinker Bell or Mickey Mouse, but also in Marvel and Star Wars characters.
You can choose from different courses of 5, 10 or 21 kilometers and there are also special courses for children of 100m, 200m and 1km.
