Project managers, engineers, landscape architects, and designers: All year long, the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams work with over 800 professionals at the Disney Adventure World construction site to create new worlds that will captivate guests starting in 2026.

At the World of Frozen in Disney Adventure World – which is slowly taking shape – the finishing touches are being added to the North Mountain, which rises 36 meters above the ground, creating an amazing new backdrop for the park. It took 400 tons of metal to build the structure, which was then covered in sculpted concrete and hand-painted. From choosing textures like seaweed, cobblestones, and lighting, to building life-size boats, the incredible attention to detail that Imagineers are known for will also extend to the kingdom of Arendelle’s façades, fjord, and nearby landscape, offering an unforgettable experience in the world of Frozen. Inside the Frozen Ever After attraction, teams are busy finishing the décor and programming 34 state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics® characters that guests will meet during their journey.

Adventure Way’s themed gardens are also coming to life thanks to an extraordinary landscaping effort. Over 1,000 trees were carefully chosen by Imagineers from European plant nurseries and planted in the park as part of the expansion, with another 100,000 shrubs and plants set to beautify the area. Recently, the Toy Story garden welcomed two impressive statues of Woody and Jessie, and the Rapunzel Tangled Spin attraction has already received its vehicles, inspired by the small boats from the iconic floating lantern scene in Disney’s Tangled.

Fun fact: Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel in Tangled, has returned to record a variety of announcements for the Rapunzel Tangled Spin attraction in Disney Adventure World, adding an extra touch of authenticity to the guest experience.
In addition to the storytelling that makes Disney parks so special, the surrounding architecture, cutting-edge technology, lush landscaping, signage, music, and entertainment are just a few of the elements that will help immerse guests in a magical, larger-than-life world when they visit Disney Adventure World in 2026.
