Starting this spring, guests will get their first look at World Premiere Plaza, a brand-new space that reflects the park’s fresh and creative new vision.
By April 2025, even more of World Premiere Plaza will be revealed. Although the full area won’t open just yet, big changes are already taking shape. The space that used to be Production Courtyard and Toon Studio is being transformed into a stunning new area, carefully designed to tell a new story and make every guest’s visit more special. As the second park at Disneyland Paris enters an exciting new chapter, World Premiere Plaza will be the gateway to amazing Disney stories, through live shows and entertainment, before guests head off to explore Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, and the soon-to-open World of Frozen.

At the heart of World Premiere Plaza is its theatre district feel, inspired by Broadway and the West End. Big, colorful posters now decorate the front of World Premiere, advertising amazing indoor shows like “Mickey and the Magician,” “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure,” and “Frozen: A Musical Invitation.”
The new atmosphere is also seen in the environment: more trees and green spaces create a relaxed and pleasant vibe, perfect for strolling between shows. New art deco-style lamps and paving stones add a stylish touch, and background music from classic Disney films, like Pocahontas, Captain America, and Indiana Jones, helps bring the area to life.

Some familiar elements from the old park areas are returning, but with a new twist. For example, the statue of Sorcerer Mickey now has a bronze finish and sits in the middle of a flowerbed, surrounded by small sculptures of classic Disney characters like Donald, Dumbo, Mulan, and Tarzan — all moved from Animation Celebration.
The beloved ‘Partners’ statue, featuring Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, will also return. It will stand under a new canopy designed to match the look of World Premiere. Behind it, there will be a hand-painted mural celebrating the park’s themed lands — Worlds of Pixar, Avengers Campus, World of Frozen, and an upcoming Lion King area. At the center of the mural, Walt and Mickey represent the beginning of Disney’s storytelling journey. The statue faces Adventure Way, symbolizing a look toward the future and inviting guests to explore the adventures ahead. The full installation will be revealed when World Premiere officially opens. As part of these changes, a new mural will also be added to the waiting area of the Animagique Theater. It will celebrate Disney characters from past and present shows in a colorful, art deco style, and will debut alongside the return of “Mickey and the Magician” on April 21, 2025. This mural also marks the arrival of Disney’s new official partner, Visa.

And the updates won’t stop there. In the lead-up to the opening of World of Frozen in 2026, World Premiere Plaza will continue to grow and improve. Food kiosks will be redesigned with an art deco look, new shopping experiences will be added, and other details will be introduced to make the area even more magical for guests.
