Disneyland Paris recently celebrated its 33rd Anniversary with a very special guest: Roy P. Disney, the son of Roy E. Disney and grandson of Roy O. Disney — one of the original co-founders of The Walt Disney Company.

During his visit, Roy toured Disneyland Park, spending time along Main Street, U.S.A. and near Sleeping Beauty Castle — areas rich with subtle tributes to Disney’s long and inspiring history. These parts of the park are known for their thoughtful details, many of which honor the Disney family and the creative legacy they helped build.

One touching highlight of his visit was at the Ribbons & Bows Hat Shop, where a window above the entrance is dedicated to his father, Roy E. Disney. It’s a quiet but meaningful detail that many guests may not even notice.

Though not everyone could be there to experience the moment firsthand, it’s clear that Roy’s presence brought a deep sense of connection to Disney’s roots. His visit served as a beautiful reminder of the vision and passion that continue to guide the magic of Disneyland Paris.

What a fitting way to celebrate 33 years of imagination, wonder, and storytelling — with a member of the Disney family who carries that legacy forward.
