?? A family that recently visited Disney World during Spring Break had a fantastic surprise when they returned home. During their visit they bought their son a Slinky Dog, known from Toy Story, as a souvenir because their son is a big fan of Toy Story.
On the last day of their visit to Disney World they had planned a breakfast with Disney characters in a restaurant at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort where they were staying. Just before the start of their return home they had visited the shops of the Boardwalk.
While some of the family members went to the restrooms and the father and his son were playing with some pirate toys, Slinky Dog was forgotten and left in the shop. After an hour drive on the way home, it became clear that Slinky Dog was nowhere to be found. A huge disappointment for their son.
When they got home they received a call from Disney’s Boardwalk that Slinky Dog was found and that he was going to find the way to their house. The mother asked how much it was to send him, but the Cast Members said that Mickey Mouse would take care of that, but that it could take 7 to 10 days.
And yes, Slinky Dog arrived with some other Toy Story friends. In the meantime Slinky Dog had a great adventure in Disney World on his own and the Cast Members took pictures of it and sent it with them.

?? Een familie die onlangs in Disney World op bezoek was tijdens Spring Break hebben een fantastische verrassing gekregen toen ze terug thuis waren. Tijdens hun bezoek had hun zoon een Slinky Dog, bekend uit Toy Story, gekregen als souvenir want hun zoontje is een grote fan van Toy Story.
Op de laatste dag van hun bezoek aan Disney World hadden ze nog een ontbijt gepland met Disney figuren in een restaurant in Disney’s Boardwalk resort waar ze logeerden. Net voor aanvang van hun terugreis hadden ze nog de shops van de Boardwalk bezocht.
Terwijl enkele familieleden even naar het toilet waren en de vader met zijn zoon even als piraten aan het spelen waren, werd Slinky Dog vergeten en achtergelaten in de shop. Na een uur rijden op weg naar huis werd het inééns duidelijk dat Slinky Dog nergens te vinden was. Een enorme teleurstelling voor hun zoontje.
Toen ze thuis kwamen kregen ze een telefoontje van Disney’s Boardwalk dat Slinky Dog gevonden was en dat hij de weg naar hun huis wel ging vinden. De moeder vroeg hoeveel het was om hem op te sturen, maar de Cast Members zeiden dat Mickey Mouse daarvoor wel ging zorgen, maar dat het wel 7 tot 10 dagen kon duren.
En ja hoor, Slinky Dog arriveerde samen met nog enkele andere Toy Story vrienden. Slinky Dog had intussen op zijn eentje nog een groot avontuur beleefd in Disney World en daar hebben de Cast Members foto’s van genomen en mee opgestuurd.
