Er is terug entertainment te zien in Disneyland Paris. Gelukkig! Want hoe je het ook draait of keert shows en/of parades zijn dingen die net zo belangrijk zijn als attracties of Disney figuren in de Disney Parken. Het is maar als je alle ingrediënten van het Disney menu samen hebt dat je over een echte Disney ervaring kan spreken. Na de heropening van Disneyland Paris waren het vooral de attracties, shops & restaurants die terug open gingen en kwamen de figuren de mensen vanop afstand begroeten, maar van entertainment was er nog geen sprake. Geen parade, geen shows en geen vuurwerk om de dag af te sluiten. Maar we gaan stilletjes aan naar een nieuwe fase, in de gefaseerde heropening van Disneyland Paris, en dat is de fase met entertainment. Enkele weken geleden werd er al begonnen met kleine onaangekondigde mini-cavalcades door Main Street USA.
Maar sinds vorig weekend is er opnieuw een grootste show te zien in het Disneyland Park. Het Frontierland theater bruist weer met de terugkomst van de Lion King show: Rythms of the Pride Lands. Vorig jaar was deze show voor het eerst te zien tijdens het “Lion King & Jungle Festival”. Dit jaar liep het wat anders en is de show 2 maanden later van start kunnen gaan.
Let wel op: om dit jaar naar de show te kunnen gaan kijken moet je een reservatie maken met de Lineberty app. Voor iedere show gaan de reservaties open 2u voordat de desbetreffende show begint. Bijvoorbeeld: is er een show om 13u15 dat je wilt zien, dan kan je vanaf 11u15 een reservatie maken. Wees wel snel want de shows zijn volzet amper een paar minuten na het openen van de reservaties.
Entertainment is back at Disneyland Paris. Finally! Shows and / or parades are things that are just as important as attractions or Disney characters in the Disney Parks. It is only when you have all the ingredients of the Disney menu together that you can speak of a real Disney experience. After the reopening of Disneyland Paris, it was mainly the attractions, shops & restaurants that reopened and the characters came to greet guests from a distance, but there was no entertainment yet. A few weeks ago, small unannounced mini-cavalcades started through Main Street USA.
But since last weekend there is again a big show in Disneyland Park. The Frontierland theater is buzzing again with the return of the Lion King show: Rythms of the Pride Lands. Last year this show was shown for the first time during the “Lion King & Jungle Festival”. This year it turned out a bit differently and the show started 2 months later.
Please note: to watch the show this year you must make a reservation with the Lineberty app. For each show, reservations open 2 hours before the show starts. For example: if there is a show at 1:15 PM that you want to see, you can make a reservation from 11:15 AM. Be quick because the shows are fully booked a few minutes after opening of the reservations.
