?? Vandaag werd de nieuwe app van Disneyland Paris gelanceerd. De app werd eerder aangekondigd tijdens de InsidEars convention van 12 April 2019. Disneyland Paris zelf was zeer tevreden en wil zich 100% inzetten voor technologische innovatie. Maar als je de nieuwe app download en even bekijkt dan stelt die zwaar teleur.
Er zijn niet onmiddellijk nieuwe functies te zien, uiteindelijk blijkt die nieuwe app gewoon de oude app te zijn in een nieuw design. Vele functies zijn nog altijd gewoon links naar pagina’s op de website en is het nog altijd niet mogelijk om een restaurant te reserveren.
Waarschijnlijk zal deze app nog enkele updates krijgen waardoor wel meer functies toegevoegd gaan worden, maar je vraagt je toch af waarom ze de app reeds lanceren als die niet klaar is.
Wat ook opmerkelijk is, als je naar shows gaat kijken staat zelfs Sports Bar in Disney Village en ook de Disney Village Online Radio als “show” aangeprezen, maar van de Marvel show Super Heroes United geen spoor te zien in de lijst.
Ook bij de meet & greets vind je bijvoorbeeld geen Captain America of Captain Marvel terug, terwijl die wel iedere dag te ontmoeten zijn in het Walt Disney Studios Park.
Je vraagt je toch af welke mensen met deze projecten bezig zijn. In ieder geval geen mensen die Disneyland Paris kennen.

Disneyland Paris itself was very satisfied and wants to be 100% committed to technological innovation. But if you download the new app and check it out, it disappoints a lot.
There are not immediately new features to see, in the end that new app just turns out to be the old app in a new design. Many functions are still just links to pages on the website and it is still not possible to make a restaurant reservation.
Probably this app will get some updates so that more functions will be added, but you still wonder why they already launch the app when it is not ready.
What is also remarkable, when you go to the list shows, even Sports Bar in Disney Village and the Disney Village Online Radio are advertised as “show”, but there is no trace of the Marvel show Super Heroes United in the list.
Even at the meet & greets you won’t find Captain America or Captain Marvel, for example, while you can meet them every day at Walt Disney Studios Park.
You still wonder which people are working on these projects. At least not people who know Disneyland Paris very well.
