?? Vorige week begon de nieuwe show Merry Jolly Jingles in het Studio Theater in het Walt Disney Studios Park. Deze nieuwe kerstshow was een last minute beslissing door Disneyland Paris. De originele planning had een tijdelijke terugkeer van Cinemagique op de agenda, dit werd trouwens ook bevestigd. Maar daar kwam Disneyland Paris dus op terug. Bij het zien van de show is het duidelijk dat de show snel gemaakt moest worden. Door het inschakelen van een live orkest, die andere jaren muziek speelde binnenin Studio 1, was het niet nodig muziek op te nemen voor de show. En een kleine cast van 4 dansers, een zanger & 2 Disney Characters zorgde ervoor dat alle nummers vlug gecreeërd konden worden.
Waarschijnlijk werd deze last minute beslissing genomen om de capaciteit van het park te verhogen tijdens de soms heel drukke kerstperiode. Cinemagique ging uiteindelijk enkel de fans aanspreken maar niet de andere bezoekers, aangezien Cinemagique reeds meer dan 15 jaar in het Park te zien was, en nog weinig mensen kon bekoren.
Het is duidelijk dat men met de technologieën in het Studio Theater het podium een totaal ander uiterlijk kan geven. Aangezien het podium voornamelijk uit schermen bestaat konden ze het Marvel decor volledig veranderen naar een Winter Wonderland.
Om de show toch van een bepaalde lengte te voorzien, werd er een Kerst-cartoon toegevoegd waar de gasten moesten naar kijken en ook de clip van “Let it Go” uit Frozen. Aangezien waarschijnlijk meerdere gasten dit ietwat langdradig vonden of slaapverwekkend werd onlangs de Kerst-cartoon uit de show gehaald. Die wordt nu vertoond net voordat de show begint, terwijl de gasten hun plaats innemen in het theater.
Het leuke aan het spektakel is dat men al zittend van deze entertainment kan genieten, dat het ook indoor is, goed bij slechte weersomstandigheden, en dat Olaf in de show te zien is. Eén van de weinige plaatsen dat je de vrolijke sneeuwman kan zien.

Probably this last minute decision was taken to increase the capacity of the park during the sometimes very busy Christmas period. Cinemagique would only appealed to the fans anyway, but not to the other visitors, since Cinemagique had been on display in the Park for more than 15 years, and few people could still be charmed.
It is clear that with the technologies in the Studio Theater the stage can give a totally different look. Since the stage consists mainly of screens they could easily change the Marvel decor to a Winter Wonderland.
In order to provide the show with a certain length, a Christmas cartoon was added to which the guests had to watch and also the clip of “Let it Go” from Frozen. Since probably several guests thought this was somewhat tedious or sleep-induced, the Christmas cartoon was recently removed from the show. It will be shown just before the show starts, while the guests take their place in the theater.
The nice thing about the spectacle is that you can enjoy this entertainment while seated, that it is also indoor, good in bad weather conditions, and that Olaf can be seen in the show. One of the few places that you can see the cheerful snowman.
