This year a new attraction at Disneyland Paris ?

Totally unexpected, Disneyland Paris gets a new attraction this year. Mickey’s PhilharMagic is coming to the Disneyland Park. This 4D film will be used to revitalize the closed Discoveryland theater. This was announced during the Insidears event at the Convention Center of Disney’s Hotel New York.

It is not only surprising that this attraction will still to Disneyland Paris, but also the place where it will be integrated. A 4D movie with a lot of Disney Characters is not immediately an attraction that you expect to find in a land with a Space Mountain or a Star Wars attraction.

Nevertheless, this attraction is a fun experience and is also completely new for the visitors of Disneyland Paris. People who have already visited Walt Disney World have probably already been able to experience this attraction there. Mickey’s PhilharMagic was first added to the Magic Kingdom and can be found there next to the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction in Fantasyland. Later the attraction also came to Tokyo Disneyland and also Hong Kong Disneyland had this film as one of the opening attractions.

There used to be rumors about the arrival of Mickey’s PhilharMagic to Disneyland Paris, but this has been a long time ago and nobody expected that this would come to Disneyalnd Paris so many years later.

The film was made by George Scribner who was also responsible for the Disney Classic “Oliver & Company” and lasted about 12 minutes. In Disneyland Paris this attraction will be opened in October 2018.

Totaal onverwacht krijgt Disneyland Paris dit jaar een nieuwe attractie. Mickey’s PhilharMagic komt naar het Disneyland Park.
