Star Wars Day is an annual fan holiday that celebrates a shared love for all things from a galaxy far, far away. This year at Disneyland® Paris, the festivities are bigger and more exciting than ever. From new galactic treats and exclusive merchandise to unforgettable entertainment and the return of Star Wars fan favorites, there are countless ways to make this celebration truly memorable.
Meet Star Wars™ Characters from Both Sides of the Saga
For the first time ever, Ahsoka will make an appearance at Disneyland® Park from May 4 to May 11. Guests may also encounter beloved characters like Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Din Djarin — also known as The Mandalorian — and Grogu as they explore the park. Fans looking to embrace the Dark Side will find Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers patrolling Discoveryland, offering thrilling meet-and-greet opportunities.
Young Padawans, Continue Your Jedi Training
From May 4 to May 24, young Padawans can master the art of lightsaber wielding in a brand-new interactive experience in Discoveryland. Recommended for children under 10, this hands-on session, guided by the wisdom of the Saja, introduces participants to the ways of the Force in a fun and engaging way.
Introducing the BDX Droids
A major highlight this year is the debut of the BDX Droids at Disneyland® Paris. Developed by Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, Disney Research, and Disney Live Entertainment, these playful droids represent a groundbreaking advancement in robotics technology. Combining expressive character traits with cutting-edge interactivity, the BDX Droids are set to redefine themed entertainment experiences.
Their remarkable innovation was recognized with the prestigious Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement – Technical Innovation in 2025. Starting May 4, 2025, and for three weeks following, guests will be able to meet the BDX Droids in Discoveryland. Kyle Laughlin, SVP of Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, shared:
