New poles have been installed in Toy Story Playland to provide lighting and music in the expansion area of the themed land. The hanging lights for the new area have not yet arrived.
Disney is currently working hard on the new entrance that will connect Toy Story Playland with Adventure Way. This passage will provide access to the brand-new “World of Frozen” area, set to open in 2026, along with Adventure Bay Lake, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, and the flat ride “Rapunzel Tangled Spin.” In the future, this route will also lead to a new themed area based on The Lion King.
Although Toy Story Playland is expanding, no new attraction will be added to this part of the park. However, various decorative elements will be introduced, including statues of Woody and Jessie, as well as a new meet & greet location with characters from the popular Disney•Pixar franchise.
It is currently unclear when the new entrance will be accessible to visitors.
