Comment nous testons the sites we list
Every casino, sportsbook and slot site on Le Comptoir is judged against the same checklist — payout reliability, bonus terms, banking, licensing and what membres actually report in the forums. No site buys its way up.
Last reviewed: July 2026
What we measure
- Payout reliability — how fast withdrawals clear, and whether membres hit “additional verification” stalls after a win.
- Bonus & wagering — the real cost of a welcome offer once wagering, max-bet and game-weighting rules are read in full.
- Banking — deposit and cashout methods, limits, fees and crypto support.
- Game range — providers, live tables and whether headline titles are actually available in the listed region.
- Support — response time and whether live chat resolves or deflects.
- Trust & safety — licensing, ownership, and the site’s track record in our Casino Watch reports.
How the score is built
Each site gets a 0–100 community score. Payout reliability and trust & safety carry the most weight, because they are what cost players real money; presentation and game count carry the least. A single unresolved payout complaint in Casino Watch can pull a score down faster than any bonus can lift it.
Ratings shown as stars are a rounded view of that score — the number beside them is the figure we actually hold.
Where our data comes from
- Hands-on checks — we sign up, deposit and request a withdrawal where practical.
- Member reports — thousands of first-hand messages across the forums, weighted toward recent, detailed accounts.
- Casino Watch — open payout and account disputes membres have filed against a brand.
We re-check listed sites regularly and after any spike in member reports, so a score reflects how a site behaves now — not how it launched.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell ranking positions, and a commercial relationship never changes a score or a verdict — see our editorial standards. If we can’t verify a claim, we say so rather than fill the gap.
